Announcing Cracking the History Code at the MOHI!
We meet will meet out front of the museum about 10 minutes before
hand and go into together. The goal of this activity is to gather
evidence that will help you learn more about a key artifact. The
key artifact comes with a locked box, containing the real story
of the artifact. In order to unlock your box, students will work
in teams to do the following:
1.Gather information about the artifact by recording observations
2.Visit color coded stations to match key artifact with evidence
that helps answer the question posed at each station. (Parent leaders
have case files with the order for each team as well as the answers)
3.After all of the supporting evidence has been collected, teams
then unlock the box and share information about the key artifact
to the rest of the group. To register, fill in your childrens' ages
and click "Add to Cart" button; cost is $4 per person
which includes guided tour, workshop and self guided tour. |
